Crowd Wellness was created by James Leard in an attempt to help others that experience pain and suffering that he has. James endured The Dark Night Of The Soul, a 10 year period of intense psychological and physical pain. During this time he spent more time with doctors that with friends. James’s Dark Night Of The Soul began with a Bipolar Disorder diagnose in early 2007 and the marked the beginning of his “Healing Journey“.
With Western Medicine struggling to find ways to treat mental illness, James sought out help from alternative healing techniques. He traveled to Thailand and studied with several Thai Massage masters in Chiang Mai and received his level one certificate. He also got his level one Reiki certificate in Chiang Mai. James then traveled down south to study yogic sciences and philosophy at a yoga retreat in Ko Pha-ngan.
When James returned home he continued his studies by immersing himself in Vancouver’s spiritual community. He found healers and teachers all around the city that left a positive impact on James’s heart and increased his awareness of the wide variety of healing modalities available. James received his level one and level two Akashic Records Healing certificates from an amazing woman in Vancouver.
Another remarkable healer and teacher introduced James to a Tibetan Lama who opened the doors to advanced meditation, breathing techniques, and insights into the inner workings of the mind. These teachings have been passed down an unbroken oral lineage for over 2000 years, known as the Karma Kagyu Lineage, based on Vajrayana (Tantric) Buddhism. Convinced of the benefits of these practices James decided to take refuge in the lineage and he received a Spiritual Tibetan name. Since then, James received several different empowerments from his Lama, Lama Tashi, and another spiritual head, Garchen Rinpoche.
Having found many answers James was looking for, he then set off to start working on Crowd Wellness to help others that are on their own Healing Journey.

Integrative Medicine is the golden child of the two largest bodies of healing; Conventional medicine and Complementary medicine; Reactive healthcare and proactive healthcare; Western medicine and Eastern medicine; Science and Intuition; Matter and Energy. The best of both worlds merge their DNA to create an offspring that provides a solution to many of the health challenges we face today…This offspring is called Integrative Medicine.
- Integrative medicine is a blend, fusion, or hybrid of two major healing systems.
- Integrative medicine is the solution to ensuring Canadians can heal, grow, and evolve into their full potential by getting to the root cause of illnesses and limiting beliefs.
- Integrative medicine is a true example of the benefit of taking the middle path. It is the start of a beautiful relationship which unites the divide between two beneficial and necessary bodies of healing.
In order to achieve optimal health, we need to ensure we take a holistic approach. It is important to take care of our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health; each deserves an equal amount of attention.
The traditional health system is not set up to manage one’s health and well being in this holistic way. The Western Healthcare system is amazing in many ways, but due to the current state of health of our country’s people, the current system is based on reactive healthcare and is, unfortunately, overburdened.
Integrative medicine is the answer. Learn More.

Everybody is on their own healing journey whether they are aware of it or not. We are here on earth to learn how to become whole, empowered, and mature human beings. As we go through life we encounter many challenges that we draw into our experience to teach us what we need to know in order to grow. The healing journey is ultimately about learning to love ourselves and then radiating that love to others so they can find the way; We are all in this together.
Chakras are energy centers within the body. There are 7 major chakras that start at the base of the spine and extend up to the crowd of your head. There are also a number of minor chakras, for example, in the feet and hands. However, the 7 major chakras are most commonly discussed. The chakra system is a spiritual science that can help you better understand yourself, and others.
We have articles with advice from some of our top chakra healers to help you understand how to start bringing healing and balance to your chakra system:
The world we live in has been male-dominant for probably as far back as when female power existed in Ancient Egypt. Since then, however, with the help of certain male-dominant religions around the world, the power dynamics shifted heavily to the masculine side. “Witches” and anyone that worshipped female deities were literally killed off. However, anyone that’s paying attention can see that the power dynamic is shifting back into a place of balance called gender equality. Women are rising in all fields, even in the business world, with an increase in female CEO’s.
The point is, that with the rise and empowerment of women, the feminine qualities that exist within both women and men are no longer being suppressed, including intuition. For example, there is a rising demand for people with high EQ (emotional intelligence) in the workplace.
Another example is an increase in Alternative Health Professionals offering “Intuition Development” services to help people that want assistance navigating the waters of their intuition.
Most intuitive healers believe in and work with, the spirit world. They believe that, as Einstein discovered, everything is energy. Physical matter, including human beings, vibrate at a slow and dense frequency, whereas, the spirit world vibrates at a much higher rate, which makes it inaccessible to some people.
Intuitive healers have always been an extremely important part of tribes and societies around the world as they bridge the gap between the spiritual world and our physical reality, allowing for important information to be given for the benefit of others.
Many intuitive healers believe they, and everyone, have “spirit guides”. These guides are available to help us on our path, but not everyone can connect to them, and that is where a psychic medium can provide assistance.
Many intuitive healers are also teachers that can help you connect to your own intuition!
Energy healers are mostly sensitive individuals that are able to direct energy through their body while holding positive and healing intentions, which is then transferred to the patient via hands-on, hands-off, or distant healing techniques.
Energy Healers believe that the human body is an energy system and that an imbalance on any level will ultimately manifest itself into the physical body. In order for energy to flow freely, the client must believe in the ability of the practitioner to channel energy through to him or her, otherwise, their own disbelief will block the healing from happening. A skilled practitioner is able to add or subtract energy in the body’s channels (meridians) and energy centers (chakras), to restore balance.
