My name is Heather and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#11099) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and have held membership with this association since January 2014. I also hold a MA in Counselling from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. In my practice, I adhere to the ethical code outlined by the BCACC and hold full liability insurance. Currently, I am an associate of the Summit Counselling Group located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Within a counselling and support environment, I have worked with a wide range of clientele within individual, couple and group settings who have sought help for a variety of concerns including mental health, loss and grief, relationship issues, stress and inability to manage challenging life situations or transitional periods, to name a few. I have found that counselling works best when an individual feels ready to have support in exploring their concerns and begin to work alongside a therapist to work towards change and personal growth.
