Tamara promotes healthy, client-controlled change with compassion, and free of judgement. Asking for help is a great step and sometimes a scary one; we all need an outside point of view occasionally to support us to the place we want to be. Tamara is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She counsels adult individuals, couples & groups. Common concerns: Relationships, pre-marital, divorce/separation, being single, stress, anxiety, self-esteem, work, life transitions. Her approach is based on the individual needs of each client and can be considered eclectic, however, sessions will tend to lean towards Solution Focused, Family Systems and Cognitive Behavior therapies.
Tamara graduated from Queens University with her B.A. in Psychology, followed by her BComm from Royal Roads University. She received her M.A. in Counselling Psychology from City University. Tamara is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
